FAQ

Aside from more time, why is treatment with Dr. Cowell better than any other Physical Therapy?

Dr. Cowell is committed to finding the true cause of your pain, providing a plan of care to address all of your needs and provide you with a recovery plan that you can perform at home so that you can reach your goals as quickly as possible. You are treated as an individual, the region that hurts is looked at as well as the rest of the body.

Treatment is a team effort between Dr. Cowell and yourself. Physical therapy is not to be treated like a quick fix, however most patients feel better after their first visit and most patients are seen once a week for about 8 weeks compared to three times a week for 6-12 wks as practiced in many health care settings.

Each patient is given a recovery plan which includes customized self-treatment techniques, activity modification strategies and corrective exercises. You will receive a specialized treatment program that will give you a lasting solution to your problem so that you can avoid medications, injections, surgery and return to your active lifestyle.

What can I expect from a visit with Dr. Cowell?
