About Us

Dr. Garry Cowell, PT, DPT, OCS graduated from Lynchburg College in 2001 with a B.S. in Sports Medicine, and went on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Touro College School of Health Sciences in 2007. He is a board certified orthopedic specialist and running gait analyst.

Dr. Cowell owns a mobile Physical Therapy practice in New York, NY. For over 10 years he has helped busy, professionals, like yourself remain youthful and mobile. He regularly works with runners, triathletes, and cyclists and helps them recover from injury and maximize performance so that they can compete and keep up with their children.

Born and raised in the small village of Sag Harbor on the east end of Long Island. He was a 9 times letter athlete and during his senior year he was the most outstanding athlete for Soccer, Basketball, and Track.

He was a New York state triple jump champion in high school, 4 times conference champion, and 2 times national qualifier in college. He played rugby for the Montauk Rugby Club 2002-2004 divisional national runner up and played on the North East regional All-Star rugby team 2004.

When not helping people to stay youthful and mobile he enjoys snowboarding, traveling, dancing, listening to music, bicycling, basketball.
